Having a night to play around with various text editors for WordPress, I think I’ve found the most muscular of them all and need to update/retract my suggestion of yesterday.

Dean Lee offers his Dean’s FCKEditor plug-in (not sure what the first three letters stand for), and it definitely offers more features than the others I tried including smilies and ways to tweak images unheard of elsewhere.  Someday I’ll cobble together the perfectly functioning WordPress, but I ain’t there yet.
