











The problem is that Google and Yahoo would begin charging more for their paid search advertising, probably much more, if they had to pay to play,??but the viewpoint of SBC Commnications and others is that these giants shouldn’t get a free ride like mom and pop.?? SBC later became part of??AT&T Inc., and, in order to win FCC approval of its merger with BellSouth, was mandated to drop its idea of a premium charge for the giants for two years.?? Google is worth what now, more than all the countries in South America??? It should pay, but it would then punish its customers.
